Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026. 1in1t is operated by Oriendium, San Jose, California, USA ("we").
What we collect
The game runs in your browser. We do not ask for an account, a name or an email to play. Your lives and your collection are stored only in your browser's local storage, and you can clear them by clearing site data.
A result link (for example /r/copepod/?d=…) contains only a short code that rebuilds the life: the pool, the animal, a random number and your choices. It contains nothing about you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are used and where the game is confusing. They set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and (Clarity) anonymised clicks and scrolls. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and nothing loads unless they accept. To find your country for that banner, our server reads the country code your request comes from; it is not stored.
Google's and Microsoft's own policies apply to their processing: policies.google.com/privacy and privacy.microsoft.com.
Fonts
When you make a share card in Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Thai, your browser fetches the few letters it needs from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address for that request. No cookies are set.
If you email support@1in1t.life, we keep your message and address to reply to you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Children
1in1t is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at support@1in1t.life. EEA and UK residents have the rights given by the GDPR; California residents have the rights given by the CCPA. We do not sell personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
