1 in 8 Billion game alternative: be reborn as any animal
In October 2026 a small web game called “1 in 8 Billion” (1in8b.life) went viral in Korea, Japan and Taiwan: you are born as one of today’s babies, by real statistics, and live a whole life. 1in1t takes the same idea of letting real numbers decide who you are, and widens it to every animal on Earth.
How 1in1t is different
Who you can be
Any animal, weighted by how many are alive: copepods, nematodes, ants, krill, bats, birds, people, pandas. Or narrow it to mammals and birds, or to people only.
How long a life takes
A few minutes, with one or two choices. The original takes 30 minutes to over an hour.
What you get
A card sized for X, Threads, LINE and Instagram, a link anyone can open, and a side-by-side comparison with a friend.
Rarity
Every animal has a rarity tier. Legendary lives, like a cow or a panda, are rarer than 1 in a trillion.
How to play
- Pick who you can be: any animal, mammals and birds, or human.
- Tap “Get reborn”. The draw uses real head counts.
- Read each stage of your life and make the choices.
- Save your card, share the link, or get reborn again.
Where to play the original
The original human-only simulator is at 1in8b.life, made by an independent developer. We are not affiliated with it and use none of its text, art or code. If you want the original experience, play it there. 1in8b.life
